The International Hotel & Property Awards offer a number of different categories covering Hospitality Design, Interior Design and Property Design. ART Rotana Amwaj Islands, the luxury hotel located in the heart of Amwaj, has received global recognition at the International Hotel and Property Awards 2017 after the hotel’s designers – Ethospace – were shortlisted in the ‘Hotel Over 200 Room’ category for their luxurious interiors design work on the ART Rotana Hotel.
Jeffrey Beers International have been shortlisted for Hotel Over 200 Rooms Award in The International Hotel & Property Awards 2017. Using New York City as his muse, Beers’ vision was to capture the energy of the neighbourhood by juxtaposing high-low design components, such as smooth millwork and polished marble against the rough texture of exposed concrete walls, to create elegant yet edgy public spaces and guest rooms.
The Distillery at the Hilton London Bankside marks a design departure from the traditional aesthetic of the brand. The neighbourhood heritage was the primary source of inspiration. Working together with Twenty2Degrees as lead interior designers for this flagship Hilton London Bankside hotel, the client detailed a restaurant & bar (R&B) brief covering materials and performance, but Dexter Moren Associates ultimately had the freedom to develop their design concept.
Blue Sky Hospitality have been shortlisted for Restaurant Within a Hotel Award in The International Hotel & Property Awards 2017. The White City Lounge area, is used as an all day bar-bistro-lounge, followed by the Green House kitchen featuring live trees open to the rain and elements as centre piece. Finally, the Black City Cafe space, which has a speakeasy industrial vibe for evening and late night drinking and dining.
Poesis Design has also been shortlisted for Hotel Under 200 Rooms Award in The International Hotel & Property Awards 2017. The design of Quirk Hotel works very well because it is a fresh and vibrant project. It hits the right mix of clean and modern look. It is pink and bold yet strong. Hotels are a great escape, a fantasy, a dream, a home away from home.
