Design Contract always finds the most luxurious interiors project to show you. A big surprise at the Top Hotel Opening Award, which won the best hotel opening awards last year. Since the “Luxury” category of the two hotels with their overall package stand out, the jury made a salomonic judgment and awarded the coveted award twice: to the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera and the Roomers Baden-Baden.

Holger Flory from Roomers Baden-Baden and King Tau from the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera were able to receive a trophy in the luxury category. The high-caliber jury was not able to decide on a single winner even after intensive discussions, which is why two winners were selected in a category for the first time in the six-year history of the award. Drawing on the recognised expertise of the designer Nicolas Adnet of the firm MHNA Paris, Sofitel has created a resolutely modern hotel, inspired by the French city mansions of the 17th and 18th centuries, making this a winner hospitality design. The Sofitel Frankfurt Opera pays tribute to the French way of life by recreating it in a sophisticated atmosphere, right in the heart of Frankfurt. All the contract furniture and facilities of the highest quality were specially designed for the hotel.

Top hotel is already looking for potential candidates for the next award. The Top Hotel Opening 2017 will take place in the first quarter of 2018.

Each of the 120 rooms and 31 suites offers a breathtaking view of the Opera, the park or the Atrium. The “Schönemann” Restaurant and “Lili’s” Bar – which owes their names to Goethe’s great love, Lili Schönemann – open their doors to guests, inviting them to taste inspired bistro-based cuisine from Paris, or simply to enjoy a cocktail. The tea house offers a wide selection of delicious pastries. “Lili’s” Bar is almost exclusively decorated with one of the most luxury brands BRABBU – Upholstery designs.
