The opening ceremony of the 67th Cannes Film Festival May in France inspired Design Contract to select the most amazing design chandeliers which would reflect red carpet celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Tim Roth, Ryan Gosling, Uma Turman, Quentin Tarantino glamour and style! Brighten Your World!
Nicole Kidman was joined by “Grace of Monaco” director Olivier Dahan and cast members Paz Vega, Tim Roth as they came for the screening of the film during the film festival. “Grace of Monaco”, a new biopic about Princess Grace of Monaco, has been panned by critics. However, that didn’t affect Kidman’s experience at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress was seen at the film’s preview on Wednesday afternoon, as well as for the festival’s opening ceremony in the evening. Kidman looked glamorous in a strapless Armani Prive gown with silver embroidery and embellishment for the opening ceremony. Nocole’s luxurious look fit perfectly with the glamorous Eternity chandelier.
The legendary Pulp Fiction and its extravagant director Quentin Tarantino came back to Cannes!
Pulp Fiction – 1994 American crime film directed by Quentin Tarantino, who also co-wrote the screenplay along withRoger Avary. The film is known for its eclectic dialogue, ironic mix of humor and violence, nonlinear storyline, and a host of cinematic allusions and pop culture references. The film was nominated for seven Oscars, including Best Picture; Tarantino and Avary won for Best Original Screenplay. It was also awarded the Palme d’Or at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival. A major critical and commercial success, it revitalized the career of its leading man, John Travolta, who received an Academy Award nomination, as did costars Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman – inspirational actress just like Atomic!
Whippersnapper Quentin Tarantino and this time did not lost his chance to shock some cinema lovers by his critics declaring that “cinema is dead” at the Cannes film festival, where he argued screening films in digital is simply forcing an audience to watch television in public and lambasted established film makers for turning their back on 35 mm film. Speaking at the festival where the director won the Palme d’Or prize in 1994 for his cult film Pulp Fiction, Tarantino condemned digital projections as a poor substitute for the “real thing”. Tarantino joined Uma Thurman and John Travolta for the 20th anniversary celebration of Pulp Fiction, shortly before a 35mm screening of his hit on the beach on Friday night. Excited Tarantino broke out into an imprompt dance and recreated Pulp Fiction’s Jack Rabbit Slim’s scene as he arrived at Cannes before greeting Travolta and Thurman with a high five.

The trio held hands while posing for cameras and then headed to the premiere of Clouds of Sils Maria at the Palais des Festivals beforePulp Fiction was shown. After arriving at city’s beach for the screening of his breakthrough film, Tarantino told an excited audience: “I’ve seen Pulp Fiction under every circumstance a person can see it except this one,” and instructed them to “rip out a joint and light it up”. Hollywood golden boy Ryan Gosling‘s directorial debut Lost River in Cannes,
in the Un Certain Regard strand haas been a pleasant surprise. Lost River – grisly slice of hipster Gothic is set in a magic-realist version of modern Detroit, and involves a long-suffering single mom (Christina Hendricks) who falls into the clutches of a ruthless bank manager (Ben Mendelsohn) – the sort who dances, sings Nick Cave-style ballads, and moonlights by running the kind of nightclub where every night is David Lynch tribute night.
Ryan’s conservative look on the red carpet wearing a single button shawl collar tuxedo by Gucci and a crisp white dressed shirt, and black ceremonial shoes have been a perfect inspiration for the Atomic.
