Viktor & Rolf Flagship Boutique – Paris
The famed designer duo Viktor & Rolf opened the doors of their Paris flagship store located in the prestige 1st arrondissement at the 370, rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. The massive 7000 square feed space presents the true sentiment of Viktor & Rolf through the design of Pierre Beucler and Jean-Christophe Poggioli of Architecture & Associés, The new store houses a vast selection of label’s collections, from womens ready to wear to handbags, shoes, eyewear, leather goods, various other accessories as well as a selection of menswear pieces. Limited edition products from V&R’s well known apparel and fragrance designs will find its place in the new store as well.
“We have always considered Paris to be our fashion home and are therefore very proud to open a flagship store, a proper place of our own. With the avant-garde design of neo-classically inspired ghost architecture, executed in all grey felt, a new code of the house is introduced, the point of reference for future expansion” – Viktor&Rolf.
Dolce & Gabbana flagship store in Fifth Avenue
Dolce&Gabbana inaugurate in New York their largest emporium, conceived as a flagship, the worldwide showcase of a group worth 1 billion Euros a year: With 3500 employees, 220 stores worldwide (67 in the USA). Today it’s the company which enjoys the most success in the Italian fashion system, which is worth almost 50 billion Euros. Its not all smiles with the Italian State though, the two designers-entrepreneurs have been lamenting the failing support offered by their country towards creative industries, those which export Italian style worldwide the most successful asset which we have in these difficult economic times.
“We are missing the stimuli to develop craftsmanship, that quality, that know how which is only Italian. We need to invest in that, where no one can surpass us. Obviously, designers invested in top brands to create unique interiors, such details like golden and black fluid and unusual chair Nessa from Koket or luxury oversized-frame Guilt mirror.
Moncler Flagship Store in Paris
Moncler ads up a stunning new address to slew of their already prestige stores. The new addresses popped up in Paris at the prestige Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré. The total area takes over 1,000 square metres, accommodating sale area, are the showroom and office space. Besides both men’s and women’s Moncler main collections, the new Paris flagship store offers all the maison’s collections, such as Moncler Gamme Rouge to Moncler Gamme Bleu, Moncler Grenoble for men and women and the accessories. Design for the new opening is work of the famed Gilles & Boissier architecture studio, who already worked with label on the design of all their stores.
Saint Laurent’s New Store
Exquisite as the supermodel Freja Beha Erichsen herself Saint Laurent’s newly designed flagship store at 53 Avenue Montaigne in Paris opens today. Accompanying the interior imagery is this splendid series featuringFreja Beha photographed by Slimane who also designed the space. Symbolically linked to the move of Saint Laurent studio to the L.A. is also the opening of Saint Laurent boutique on the famed Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, opening its doors today only four hours later after the newly redesigned Paris address.
