During this time, they have developed over 300 hotel projects for luxury hotels including CURIO by Hilton, Le Méridien, JW Marriott, Hyatt Place and Capri by Fraser, and have been graciously honoured with more than 45 industry awards. Design Contract has selected some of their amazing projects for you to see.
Altenberger Hof – Odenthal:
“Spend the night in a historic building, immerse yourself in the past, and calm your soul. This boutique hotel and its restaurant are living proof that small is beautiful, with twelve new bedrooms and a modernised meeting room. The interior is a subtle interplay of delicate lines and soft, warm volumes in an earth-toned setting that brings the leafy outdoors inside. Many of the details, like welting, quilted seams, textures, and coloured glass accents, echo those of the nearby cathedral.”
JW Marriott – Cannes:
“Refurbishment and rebranding of public areas: situated on the Promenade de la Croisette, this prominent building enjoyed a full makeover. With its hues of white, black and gold, the colour canon is evocative of the sun-drenched beaches and palms of the world famous film festival, underscoring the hotel’s exclusive location. The striking lobby forms a dynamic hub, lit by an elaborate lighting installation which makes an inviting refuge of this space with its carefully proportioned presence.”

Premier Inn – Frankfurt :
“It’s fresh, original, and comes with an extra helping of playful Britishness. The Premier Inn celebrates the opening of its first German hotel, in the new Europaviertel district of central Frankfurt, with a highly creative interior design concept. This provides a surprisingly modern and humorous take on typical British style, with a comfortable, open-plan environment and a strong focus on detail. Dark warm colours are brought to life by bright accents of turquoise, sunshine yellow and violet for an even more inviting feel, and an eclectic selection of distinctive clustered pendant lights illuminates the different areas.”
Reichshof Hamburg CURIO Collection by Hilton:
“In mid-2015, following an extensive renovation, the venerable listed Reichshof Hamburg became Hilton Worldwide’s first Curio Collection hotel in Europe. Its art-deco mix of luxurious beauty and historical stylistic detail combines imposing marble columns, wood panelling and copper detailing with the latest technology. This glamorous grand hotel is a relaxed, avant-garde place to be for guests and locals alike.”
The company feels that year after year, project after project, the ways in which hotel spaces are used continues to evolve. They know that design is crucial to every hotel’s success, as it is the best concierge for instilling a warm first impression.
