Antonio Citterio is currently known as one of the best and top designers of our time. Be it due to his furniture, design or architecture initiatives his work is notable among contemporary interior designers worldwide.
It is no surprise that Antonio Citterio is once again involved in an ambitious architecture project. Considering his work in regards to his take on the Bulgari and Mandarin Oriental hospitality projects in Dubai, London, Milan and Bali, this new project promises to leave a mark in the hospitality sector. Arte, a coveted area located north of Miami Beach, is still in development yet already set to commence its first closings this summer.

Arte by Antonio Citterio is located at 8955 Collins Avenue in Surfside, an area between Indian Creek, Bay Harbor Islands and Bal Harbour. It will be having a set of residences which will be having three to five-bedroom residences range. From the images of the conceptual art of the project, it will be heavily based on the Mediterranean lifestyle.
Among some of the most relevant details that definitely captured our attention our eyes were set on the wide terraces that blend beautifully into the beach scenarios, as well as the lovely kitchens featuring quality elements such as Poliform cabinetry, Italian marble countertops and Gaggenau appliances. On the outside sculpture by Robert Indiana will be displayed along with “Polychromatic Chronology,” a work by Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson.

Among the amenities we can point to two swimming pools (one 75′ indoor and another located outdoors), a fitness centre, a yoga studio, a rooftop tennis court, along with a steam room, sauna and a meditation pond to relax after activities. Parents will also be able to take their kids to a playroom while at the same time enjoying a little game of billard.
Besides his architecture career alongside Patricia Viel, Antonio Citterio has an amazing path as a designer. The Italian designer is mostly known for his collaborations with prestige Italian brands, among them B&B Italia.

Antonio Citterio has made several collections for the brand, most notably the Maxalto collection which was enrichened last year with some more elegant chairs, and seating systems, featuring new range extensions and new finishes.
