This hotel is emblematic because it was there the author of “Eat, Pray, Love”, Elizabeth Gilbert, found romance. The hotel is composed by a dozen of villas with the traditional Balinese homes decoration. In each villa the visitors can find ikat bed linens, a plunge pool and a dining pavilion where the local staff can serve you a special Balinese breakfast.
Blakes Hotel in London
Near to the Victoria and Albert design Museum is Blakes. This hotel has luxury suites with different names: the Venetian has a Murano glass-jeweled bed swathed in rich fabrics; the Dorian Grey chambers fitted in soothing dove and taupe tones and the Biedermeier Suite which starts period antiques and a four-post bed. There is also the Chinese room that, similarly to the bar, it has been decorated in deep hues.
