Located at 13 East 1st St in New York’s East Village, L’Apicio is a modern Italian delight. workshop/apd created a mixed-use facility with innovative uses of wood, glass and brick. The architecture firm was limited by the space’s 4,400-square foot envelope, but you would never know. The restaurant somehow manages to balance posh with warm for a spectacular dining experience.

Floored Software company was responsible for modeling a fully-furnished duplex storefront for the 40 W. 57th St Nobu location. Hoping to throw a party at this swanky locale? With Floored’s interactive virtual event space model, it’s easy for diners to envision the party of their dreams long before the day the event actually arrives.
Located in the heart of Greenwich Village, Susanna is an authentic pizzeria designed by Sergio Mannino Studio. Manning designed the kitchen and pizza oven to take center stage, drawing in the eyes of all who might wander by. There is an open backyard in which basil and other herbs and spices grow, providing an enticing aroma of traditional Italian cuisine. This place makes you hungry for a slice!
A restaurant that’s been around since 1985, Union Square Cafe is one of NYC locals’ favorites. It has earned Zagat Survey #1 ranking as New York’s Most Popular restaurant for 8 years, as well as NYTimes’ three-star rating twice. Smart Lighting was brought in to find a long-term solution for maintenance-free lighting in the restaurant, as well as a LED-retrofit for the whole space.
