“At first I was shocked. The Matarazzo was so out of context, out of time, in disagreement with reality. A dream landscape, like a wonderful tale, preserved in a bell kept by fairies. This place is immaterial. This is the essence of São Paulo and especially of those who were born here. Finding a gem that expresses this incredible spirit of the Brazilian people and the people of São Paulo is magical. It is a place that immediately plunges us into a dream, into the imagination, into fairy tales that are dear to children and adults. There, anything can happen.” – Starck said.
