CaberlonCaroppi project approach is about symbiosis: they always try to make different styles, histories and atmospheres work together within the spirit of the place. It is crucial to make reference to local traditions so that, for example, business travellers know they are in Rome rather than New York City. Their focuses are making people live the moment of an architectural space, the character of a place, an event, a passage.
Designing time is a fascinating and stimulating challenge, especially when considered through the eyes of the client. CaberlonCaroppi like to give their partners and their clients a participant role rather than a viewer.
Hotels, restaurants, shops, showrooms, stands and cinemas are just some of the transitory places we frequent every day and which rarely leave them any sort of impression or memory.
CaberlonCaroppi projects deal with this kind of spaces, concentrating their research on atmosphere, lighting, materials and colours. They work is finished once the visitor is able to perceive space in the way they have created it and interacts with it while passing through it. CaberlonCaroppi wants its hotels to tell stories.
