Eric Tsay is the founder and design director of Studio STAY, 永续设计. Studio STAY is an innovative design-oriented studio focusing on creative thinking and original design elements.
Incorporating artwork and interior design components into a space shaped by the organized spatial layout which is both functional and stylistic. The design style varies from clean and elegant; modern and eclectic; luxury and calm. They are all based on each project’s unique conditions and program requirements, therefore creating win-win design works for the clients and Studio STAY.
The two firms Eric Tsay has worked for in New York are both the winners for Cooper Hewitt National Design Award for Interior Design and are both the inductee for Interior Design Hall of Fame. Monkey Bar won Condé Nast Traveller I&D Award in 2010. Hyatt Regency Suzhou, Pullman Kaifeng and Regent Chongqing all won China Best Design Hotel in 2015 and 2017.

Eric Tsay moved to Beijing, China in 2011. He worked in New York City from 1996-2011 for 17 years. (Gabellini Sheppard & Tsao & Mckown, etc.) Eric Tsay participated in many award-winning projects throughout the years, including the AIA National Award.
