Jeremiah Johnson, the founder of CBD Architects, works closely with each client, sharing his extensive understanding of technical architecture as well as his whimsical design sensibility.
CBD Architects: Projects
1- Remedy Bar
For this project, CBD Architects chose a cozy and comfortable atmosphere with a retro aesthetic, making use of leather chairs and sofas. The retro colors are predominant too: greens, dark blue, browns and wood tones can be seen everywhere.
2- Clutch Chicago
This is an upscale version of the all-purpose spots where they’ll display sports during the day and shift the furnishings to make a dance floor at night, from the creators of Concrete Cowboy. The use of green tones and plants to adorn the place makes up for a comfortable and fresh space.
3- The Blanchard
The Blanchard won the Jean Banchet award for Best New Restaurant in 2015 after its grand opening. The space’s elegance, the servers’ expertise, and the open kitchen’s confidence: it all adds up to an instant Chicago classic.
